The Dower House provides facilities that enable staff to give a high degree of personal care in a nursing home/country house atmosphere.

There is a hair dressing salon and a fully equipped physiotherapy room. Our resident physiotherapist gives individual treatments, and runs a weekly 'keep fit' class, and a monthly 'fun and games' session in the drawing room.

We have regular visits from a chiropodist, beauty therapist, aromatherapist and manicurist. Fresh flower arrangements are done weekly in the hall, dining room and corridors.

General practitioners from Winchester visit the nursing home and if possible residents continue to be registered with their own doctor.

We have a well-stocked library and weekly and monthly magazines are delivered for the residents' enjoyment. Residents can order their own choice of newspapers/magazines for daily or weekly delivery.

We have a purpose built laundry and ironing room on the premises.

St Swithun's Church is nearby and the Rector holds a monthly Holy Communion Service in the drawing room for all those who wish to participate.

There is a large parking area for residents and visitors cars, as well as a lockable store for motorised scooters.
